Abstract

Interaction studies of four binary liquid mixtures namely
Dipropylene glycoldimethylether (DPGDME)+methanol+1-propanol+1-
pentanol+1-heptanol] have been carried out by a dimensionless parameter
(pseudo- Grüneisen) Г. Using the thermal expansivity (α) and heat
capacities ratio (ϒ) data for these mixtures, the values of Г were computed
for pure components their binary mixtures and their binary mixtures at
298.15 K and varying compositions. The results are discussed in the light of
interactions involving in the mixtures.
