Abstract

Multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) plays important role in investment funding, where uncertainty and imprecision are natural challenges. To improve decision-making accuracy, this paper introduces a Modified Fermatean Cubic Fuzzy Aggregation Operator & score function, which integrates Fermatean cubic fuzzy sets with aggregation operators. The proposed aggregation operator effectively captures higher degrees of uncertainty and expert hesitation, leading to more reliable investment evaluations. Furthermore, an investment decision-making framework is developed based on the proposed aggregation operator, enabling a systematic evaluation of funding alternatives. A numerical example is conducted to validate its effectiveness, and a comparative analysis with existing aggregation methods highlights its advantages in handling complex decision environments. The results shows that the Modified Fermatean Cubic Fuzzy Aggregation Operator is a effective tool for improving investment decision-making under uncertainty.
