Abstract

This paper addresses the problem of estimating the population mean  of the study variable  using known population mean  of the auxiliary variable  in stratified random sampling. We adopted the procedure of Kadilar and Cingi1 is proposing some chain ratio-type, combined chain ratio-type exponential, combined chain ratio-ratio-type exponential estimators and their generalized versions. Suggested estimators’ properties are studied up to the first order of approximation. We obtained the regions of preferences under which the proposed estimators are better than some existing estimators. In support of the present study, numerical illustration is being provided.
