Abstract

Digital signatures are efficient tools for source authentication in cryptography. The concept of proxy signature enables a signer to
delegate its signing capability to any other party, called proxy signer. In this paper, an efficient multi-proxy signature scheme is proposed from bilinear pairing, using the Boneh, Lynn and Shacham's (BLS) short signature 1 and ID-based signature of Xun Yi 2. The size of signature in our scheme is less than those of other existing schemes 3-4. Furthermore, our scheme satisfies all the security requirements of a proxy signature, as given in 5
