Surface Waves in Prestressed Elastic Multilayered Media

Abstract

Thomson-Haskell matrix method is used to study the propagation of Rayleigh waves in prestressed multilayered elastic solid with incremental elastic coefficients possessing orthotropic symmetry. The dispersion equations are derived for one and two prestressed layered half space.
