Coupled Fixed Point Theorems In G-Metric Spaces with Application in Solving Integral Equation

Abstract

In this paper, we have proved coupled coincidence point results for pair ofmappings in partially ordered G-metric spaces. We have defined weak compatibility in this context to ensure the uniqueness of the coupled common fixed point. There are several corollaries which extend some existing results of coupled coincidence points and coupled fixed points. The main theorem is illustrated with an example. An application is established to solve some integral equation. The example demonstrates that our main result is an actual improvement over the results which are generalized.
