Hall Effect on Thermosolutal Instability of Couple-Stress Fluid with Suspended Particles in Porous Medium
Main Article Content
Abstract
The thermosolutal instability of a couple-stress fluid in porous medium is studied in the presence of uniform horizontal magnetic field to include Hall currents and suspended particles. The stable solute gradient, suspended particles, Hall currents, Couple-stress and magnetic field introduce oscillatory modes in the system, which were non-existent in their absence. For stationary convection, the stable solute gradient, magnetic field, couple-stress have stabilizing effects whereas suspended particles and Hall currents have a destabilizing effects on thermosolutal instability of couple-stress fluid. The effects of stable solute gradient, suspended particles, Hall currents, couple-stress and magnetic field have also been shown graphically.
